This article examines the reinterpretation of classical fairy tales in Disney animated films and their ideological, symbolic, and cultural transformations. The first part outlines the global evolution of Disney as a cultural industry, highlighting its mechanics of nostalgia, standardization and consumerist pedagogy. The second part analyzes how multiculturalism is visually represented in productions such as Mulan, Aladdin and Pocahontas, which simulate diversity while neutralizing it ideologically. The article argues that Disney’s narratives operate as subtle vehicles of ideological normalization, transforming alterity into a commodified spectacle and re-signifying foundational myths in line with dominant Western discourses.
